There was an interesting article in the St. Paul Pioneer Press on Sunday about the Front Office woes of the Minnesota Twins. I’ll post an excerpt here, and give you a link for the rest of the article.

It is Krivsky’s expertise with contracts and arbitration cases that will leave the biggest hole for the Twins this winter as they face the daunting tasks of negotiating deals with the reigning American League batting champion (Joe Mauer), one of the favorites for the AL Most Valuable Player Award (Justin Morneau) and a cleanup hitter who had a breakout season (Michael Cuddyer).
All of those players are eligible for arbitration, along with prominent setup reliever Juan Rincon and starting third baseman Nick Punto, who batted .290 this year.”
