The Twins lost another heartbreaker to the Oakland A’s yesterday in Minnesota. I can’t believe they lost the two home games. The Twins are the better team, but I don’t think they can pull this off. Oakland dominates at home, that’s why it was so important for the Twins to have a two game lead (or split at worst) heading to Oakland.

They have their work cut out for them.

Joe Mauer went 1-4 with a single. No runs scored and no runs batted in for the AL batting champ.

It’s not like the Twins are getting blanked. They had 9 hits yesterday, but were only able to put up 2 runs on those hits. Too many men left on base.
