Twins Win the AL Central

Joe Mauer helped lift the Twins over the Chiacgo White Sox on Sunday to win the American League Central Division. The Detroit Tigers fell a part and will have to settle for the Wild Card spot.

Mauer was 2-4, with a double and 1 run scored. Mauer ended the season with a league leading .347 batting average. He was .003 points higher than Pittsburgh Pirate Freddy Sanchez. This is a tremendous accomplishment for Joe Mauer.
