Joe Mauer Contract Rumors

Not much is going on in the world of Joe Mauer right now.

Rotowire is reporting that contract negotations are rumored to be happening. Word is the Twins are working on a 4 year, $33 million dollar contract.

Mauer has 3 years left of arbitration eligibility because he is only 24 years old. Signing a 4 year extension would lock him up for his first season of free-agent eligibility.
