With 23 at bats in the first 6 games of the season, Mauer is still playing very well. He has a hit in every game but one. Joe is batting .348, but has yet to hit in a RBI. He has scored 4 runs though.
Tonight Mauer and the Twins face Pettitte and the Yankees. So far this season Joe is batting .500 against left handed pitchers, so I expect him to have a solid game tonight. 2 hits wouldn’t surprise me.
The Twins lost the first game of the Yankees series yesterday 8-2, but I expect them to bounce back and win the series.
