The Minnesota Twins start a 3 game home series against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday. Johan Santana will be the opening day starter and Joe Mauer will be there to catch for him behind the plate. The game starts at 6:05 PM CT, and will be aired on ESPN2.

I am very excited to see how Mauer follows up his performance from last season. He has a very good chance at winning the batting title again. I also like this team to go deep into the post season.

“This is the best team I’ve ever been a part of,” center fielder Torii Hunter said of the ‘07 ballclub. “I feel this is the best chance I’ve had out of all my years to get to the World Series. And I think we can do it.”
