Joe Mauer has had a hit in 8 of his last 9 games. Make me wonder if he read my last post when I criticized his play and suggested he may still be hurt. Well Joe, thanks for proving me wrong. You’re on a tear right now.

Since June 17, he has 4 multihit games including a 2 homerun game against Florida on the 24th. Management has always asked for more power from Joe, and by the looks of it, they’re starting to see the results.

Mauer is now batting .317 on the season and has a OBP hovering just above .400.
