Australian baseballer Jeff Williams has been named in an investigation that was carried out in US about the use of performance enhancing drugs while playing for Major League Baseball in United States. George Mitchell is the man in charge of investigating baseball players to find out if they had indeed used performance enhancing drugs while playing baseball.
Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority is studying this report where it is stated that the former New York Mets equipment manager, Kirk Radomski had sold steroids to Williams and other players.
According to the Mitchell report, Williams had bought steroids in 2004, from Radomski. However so far, Australian Sports Anti-doping Authority has denied making any comments on the case while Williams is unavailable for comments.
