Barry Bonds, the baseball legend has been indicted for lying about the use of steroids to investigators. This has led to a high profile victim being involved in a spreading doping scandal in United States of America.

With his hitting his 756^th home run against Washington Nationals in August, Bonds a player for San Francisco Giants now holds the Major League baseball record for home runs. This is what made him the baseball legend he is now.

With his statement, Bonds faces charges of perjury and obstruction of justice. This was decided by investigators during the grand jury hearing into the notorious Bay Area Laboratory Co-operative affair.

However Bonds critics say his home run milestone was tainted because of all the doping allegations over him.
