The official reporting day for Twins pitchers and catchers is not until February 17, but Joe Mauer is starting his workouts a little early. Joe is really amped about improving his game and making this season injury free. Starting a work out early is the best way to accomplish this. Joe, who lives in Fort Myers, Florida, has started showing up at the Twins spring training facility to get ready for the upcoming season.
Spring training doesn’t start until February 28, when the Twins play their first game against the Angels. Mauer will be ready for action.
