In addition to left-hander Liriano, another pitcher who was not seen during Monday’s first work out for catchers and pitchers was left-hander Dennys Reyes. He found out earlier this week that his passport will be expiring in three weeks. So he cannot leave the country until and unless he gets an updated passport.

Reyes will probably be obtaining his new passport on Monday and traveling to Fort Myers on Tuesday. Hopefully he would be rejoining the team for Wednesday’s workout.

Another missing face in the first official team work out would be infielder Alexi Casilla. The Twins are trying to help get Casilla’s appointment rearranged as soon as possible, with a little help from Major League Baseball.

The Twins are expecting the absent players to join the team as soon as possible.
