Liriano arrived after recovering from the Tommy John elbow reconstruction surgery but now what is his present status? Is he being able to fully perform? As of now, not really sure!

The reason for this uncertainty is because he has not entirely let loose his pitches ever since he arrived at the Twins camp. Liriano has decided to limit himself for now.

During Friday’s bullpen session, the performance of this left hander was below 100 percent. Liriano threw a fastball, slider and changeup pitch during his 12-15 minute bullpen session and he is confident about his pitches.

The team’s plan for Liriano at present is to make him throw during Sunday’s batting practice session and if it goes well, he would be probably throwing in a game later on, a few days after that batting session.

Liriano will be improving and working on his fielding over the next few weeks. Liriano is, however, happy where he stands no matter how much work has to be done.
