Baseball need not be expensive. By investing in a few basics, everyone can enjoy America’s favorite sport.

1.A bat- a good-sized, sturdy bat will last you for years to come. Make sure the weight is at par for the person/s who will use it. A steel bat will be heavier, but will definitely last longer.

2. Baseball mitts- Make sure your baseball mitts are made out of good quality leather. Synthetic leather will also do but they might break down sooner. Before purchasing a mitt, check the stitches if they are secure.

3.Baseball- A good baseball is made out of real leather, like baseball gloves. The insides should be made out of cork. Stitches should also be secure. The shape should be that of a perfect sphere. It should be firm, and not deform when squeezed.
