It’s a rare site to see the usually cool and calm Joe Mauer get riled up. That’s what happened when two pitches by the Tiger’s Armando Gallaraga almost hit him.

Joe felt that the pitches were meant to hit him. He also thought that that kind of strategy was unnecessary and uncalled for.
